Pharmacy Technician

The world of pharmacy is changing and Eastern College is working with the change. 

 

   -  Newfoundland, you can train to be a Pharmacy Assistant

   -  New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, you can study to be a Pharmacy Assistant/Technician

   -  Nova Scotia, you have the opportunity to attend an accredited Pharmacy Technician program   

      (provisionally accredited by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs).

 

Graduates of all three programs will walk away with an in depth knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy and client relations.

 

Program Length:

     - Pharmacy Assistant (NL):  50 weeks

     - Pharmacy Assistant/Technician (NB/PE): 50 weeks

     - Pharmacy Technician (NS, provisionally accredited): 54 weeks
