Steamfitter / Pipefitter
Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a specialized career path? Graduates of Eastern College’s Steamfitter / Pipefitter Diploma program are ready to fill this niche role within the trades, with an even balance of training in both classroom theory and shop application. In the workplace, you’ll be responsible for planning, assembling, installing, and repairing industrial, manufacturing, and water treatment piping systems. These systems are used to transport essential materials including steam, water, air, gases, chemicals, solids, and fuel. Graduates may use this training as a credit towards apprenticeship, for a head start on your steamfitter / pipefitter career path. Graduates will be eligible to complete the Apprentice Level I Exam.
