INFORMATION SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

A career in Information Technology may be right for you, and our Information Systems Administrator program will help get you working in the IT field. Information Systems Administrators are responsible for maintaining and operating workplace systems and networks. You’ll leave Eastern College with a solid knowledge of operating systems and applications, as well as how to assist others with computer troubleshooting.

The Information Systems Administrator Diploma program will qualify grads to pursue positions such as Client Support Representative, Computer Help Desk Representative, Help-Desk Troubleshooter, or Network Administrator.
Industry and vendor certification have become a benchmark used by employers in the hiring process and the Information System Administrator program helps the students prepare for certification in the following areas: Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+ and Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2008 and (MCSA): Windows Server 2012.
• High School Graduation Diploma or Mature Student Status (18 years of age and academic achievement assessment passed).
• In addition, an entrance assessment must be successfully passed.
