How Does One-on-One Job Placement Work?
We will always be here to support you. As a graduate, you will have completed your Career Planning and Preparation course, as well as your field placement, and your resume should reflect the skills and experience that you have gained. From this point, you will receive assistance from your Employment Specialist in searching for job opportunities.
You will be made aware of job opportunities that are relevant to you, your resume will be sent out to the appropriate recruiters, and your Employment Specialist may reach out to employers that they have connections with to see if there are any hiring needs to be met.
During this time, you are encouraged to make an appointment with your Employment Specialist, if you need to set up a mock interview. The practice that you gain from a mock interview will carry over and help you ease those pre-interview jitters that we all are accustomed to.
Once you have landed the job that you have always wanted, your Employment Specialist will celebrate your success with you. As a graduate, you are invited back to your campus to be congratulated and to ring a bell that signifies your new employment. Your success is our success.
If ever in the future you find yourself in need of advice or guidance regarding your career, or anything that you may face in your career, you are more than welcome to reach out to your Employment Specialist. They will always be there to support you.
