For a limited time, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are offering a tuition grant for select healthcare programs to help address recruitment shortages in the provinces and attract more people to high-demand sectors.

You must be a Canadian permanent resident or citizen to qualify.

50% free tuition for Child and Youth Care (CYCW), New Brunswick
75% free tuition for Personal Support Worker (PSW), New Brunswick
100% free tuition for Continuing Care Assistant (CCA), Nova Scotia

The funding may also cover other eligible costs such as transportation, living expenses, and childcare.

Personal Support Worker

Provide support to clients and their families; whether elderly, disabled or recovering from a serious illness or injury.

Duration: 33 Weeks
Internship: 9 Weeks

Child And Youth Care With Addictions Support Worker

Help counsel children and their families dealing with social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health issues.

Duration: 72 Weeks
Internship: 6 Weeks

Nova Scotia

Continuing Care Assistant - PE

Hybrid model program with lecture-based classes taught remotely while hands-on training is done on-site

Duration: 37 Weeks
On-the-job training: 2 days per week

Continuing Care Assistant

Consists of theory and practice through the use of classrooms, labs and work placements

Duration: 44 Weeks
Internship: 11 Weeks
