Child and Youth Care Worker with Addiction Support Information Session

Child and Youth Care with Addiction Support workers are responsible for providing assistance and counselling to children, adolescents, and their families with concerns regarding developmental, social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health issues.

This specialized role requires high levels of empathy and professionalism as you work with other industry professionals to strategize and determine the best course of intervention, advocacy, and support for the well-being of children.

• 6-week field placement
• 84-hour community practicum
• Community Agency networking opportunities

• Certifications earned during the program (First Aid, Suicide Assist, Non Violent Crisis Intervention)
