Please be advised we were notified on Friday June 18, 2021 that an individual has tested positive for Covid-19 at the Saint John Campus. This individual was last on Campus on Friday, June 18, 2021. All individuals that were determined to have come in close contact with this person have been notified and advised to quarantine. New Brunswick Public Health has been notified. The Saint John Campus will be closed for 14 days and deep cleaned. We will reopen on Monday, July 5, 2021. Please be advised that on Monday, April 26, 2021 we were notified by Page Property Management, building management of the Halifax Campus, that an individual working at another company in the building has tested positive for Covid-19. This individual was last in the building on April 21, 2021. All individuals that were determined to have had possible exposure have been notified, advised to quarantine and encouraged to book a Covid test. Public Health has been notified. The Halifax Campus will receive a professional thorough deep clean and will be closed to staff and students until May 5, 2021. We will reopen the campus for in class training on May 6, 2021. Eastern College, Moncton campus, was notified today that a student has tested positive for Covid-19. The student is learning remotely but was on campus on January 11th and was only on campus for between 5-15 minutes collecting a textbook at the front desk. The student did not visit other areas of the campus. Based on the definition by Public Health, no one was determined to have come in close contact with this student. Out of caution, the two staff members who spoke to this student were asked to self-isolate and were recommended to get a Covid-19 test.
